This is another amazing bread recipe that you can easily make in a Dutch oven. A no-knead bread that guarantees to be one of the best in town!
1/2 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
1 teaspoon salt
3 c. King Arthur All-Purpose Flour
3-4 teaspoon ‘Everything’ Topping Mix into a dough, plus more 1-2 tablespoons for topping crust
1 1/2 c. Water (90-100 degrees or your yeasts needs)
Everything Season Mix:
1 tablespoon poppy-seeds
1 tablespoon dried garlic
1 tablespoon dried onion
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
How to make Everything’ Bread
Step 1: Combine the flour, salt, ‘everything’ mix, and yeast in a large bowl. Pour in the water and mix the dough using either your hands or spatula until blended. Using a saran wrap, tent the bowl and allow the dough to sit for about 13 to 18 hours. Once the top of the dough is full of tiny bubbles, the dough is ready.
Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees F and place a Cast-iron Dutch oven with a lid inside.
Step 3: Transfer the dough on a floured surface, laying it flat using your floured hands. Then, start pulling the right and left edges up toward the centre of the dough. Pull the top and bottom edges up and toward the centre of the dough to shape the dough into a large ball. Flip the dough and create 3 slashes on top. Spritz the dough with water and sprinkle with 1 to 2 tbsp
Step 4: Take the pot from the oven, uncover it, and transfer the dough inside it. Put the lid back on and bake for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Uncover the pot and continue to bake for additional 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Step 5: When done, take the pot carefully out of the oven and transfer it to a cooling rack. If desired, brush the bread with a little of the melted butter. Before slicing, allow the bread to cool.
