It’s almost the holiday, and I have new recipes I want to welcome. One of them is this Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon. The sticky sweet, and savoury flavour of this appetizer is so addictive, you’ll not be able to stop eating! Plus, this recipe is ridiculously easy to throw together up using just three ingredients!

If you are planning to throw a party soon, this appetizer should be on your list! Crispy bacon wrapped the smoked sausages and smothered in sticky brown sugar. Beware, this is crazy addictive! When I first serve this, my guests went nuts, and the little smokies were gone in a blink! I learned my lesson, so I always make sure to whip up a big batch. Anyway, it’s not as hard because again, this is freaking easy to make with only little smoked sausages. Brown sugar, and bacon! Try this very soon if you have not, and this will alter your life!

Ingredients

1 package (14 ounces) little smoked sausages

1 c. brown sugar, packed

1 lb bacon (not thick-sliced)

How to make Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon

Step 1: Into thirds, slice the bacon.

Step 2: Around one little smokie, tightly wrap a piece of bacon, then lay it seam-down in a 13 x 9-inch glass dish. Do this for the rest of the little smokies.

Step 3: Once all the smokies are wrapped, evenly sprinkle the tops with brown sugar.

Step 4: Store the bacon-wrapped little smokies in the fridge for at least an hour, covered.

Step 5: In the meantime, prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 6: When ready to bake, remove the cover of the little smokies. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the sugar has deeply caramelized.
