GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN TENDERS (THE BEST!)

Ingredients:

4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature

3 – 4 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound (0.4 kg) chicken tenders

1/2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp bottled Italian seasoning (Simply Organic or McCormick brand)

3 dashes of cayenne powder

lemon wedges

1 tbsp chopped parsley

salt, to taste

Rub each chicken tender with smoked cayenne pepper and paprika.

Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.

Add 3 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.

Add the seasoned chicken tenders, then cook each side for about 2 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Move the chicken tenders to one side of the skillet, then add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt.

Add the minced garlic and saute until aromatic.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the chicken and stir until well combined with the garlic as well.

Add the lemon juice and salt, stir until well mixed. Cook for a few more minutes or until the sides of the chicken turn a bit toasted.

Add the parsley and stir until well mixed.

Remove the skillet from the stove.

Transfer onto a clean serving plate.

Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken tenders.

Serve hot and enjoy!
