Ingredients:

3 tablespoons vegetable oil or any neutral oil

3 cloves garlic minced

1 tablespoon green onion chopped, more for garnish

1 tablespoon Sichuan chilli flakes or to taste

4 ounces thick wheat noodles

1 teaspoon chicken stock powder or salt to taste

1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon Chinese black vinegar

2 teaspoons light soy sauce

cilantro, green onion, and sesame seeds for garnish

Directions:

Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.

Add the noodles and cook until firm to bite. Drain and transfer them into a bowl.

Place a small pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the chicken stock powder, garlic, green onion, chilli flakes, Chinese black vinegar, and soy sauce on top of the noodles.

Pour the hot oil on top of the garlic and chilli flakes.

Toss everything until the noodles are well coated. Add more soy sauce if necessary.

Sprinkle sesame seeds, green onion, and freshly chopped cilantro on top.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
