Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

4 tablespoons soft butter

Directions:

Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.

Add spoonfuls of sour cream on top of the flour mixture.

Add oil and stir everything until well mixed.

Use your hands to mix the dough further.

Sprinkle flour onto a flat surface, then place the dough on it. Knead until smooth.

Slice the dough into six even biscuits.

Spread butter over each biscuit.

Prepare the oven and preheat to 218 degrees C or 425 degrees F.

Place the biscuits inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.

Remove the biscuits from the oven and spread the rest of the butter on top of each.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
