This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma used to make this all the time! Oh, man, you should have seen her worked around the kitchen. She was a wizard! I learned a lot from her including this recipe that I am sharing with you today. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Make sure to read the notes below for some recommendations. Ingredients:
1 8 count tube crescent rolls
6 tablespoons brown sugar
6 teaspoons water
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 c coarsely chopped pecans
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 6-muffin tin.
Roll and slice 6 into two and 2 into 1/3.
Fill each muffin tin with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1/2 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon water, and 1 tablespoon pecans.
Distribute the roll slices between each muffin tin.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the sticky buns to rest for about a minute at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use whole pecans for this recipe.
You can use walnuts as well.
