My new favourite – Baked Teriyaki Salmon. Ready in under thirty minutes, these perfectly flaky and tender salmon with a delish teriyaki sauce is the perfect lunch or dinner to enjoy with your loved ones.
Baked to perfection, this made from the scratch lovely meal is not only delicious but gluten-free, which is excellent if you are on a healthy diet.
Ingredients
4 Skinless Salmon Fillets about 6 ounces each
1 Green Onion sliced
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Teriyaki Sauce:
⅓ c. Low-sodium soy sauce
¼ c. Fresh orange juice
2-3 tablespoons Water
2 tablespoons Honey
2 Garlic Cloves minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon Chili Flakes or to taste
½ Lemon juiced
½ tablespoon Gluten-free flour
How to make Baked Teriyaki Salmon
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Place the teriyaki sauce ingredients (soy sauce. Fresh orange juice, water, honey, minced garlic, minced fresh ginger. Chili flakes, lemon juice, and flour) in a small bowl. Whisk until combined.
Step 3: Using a non-stick spray, grease a baking dish.
Step 4: Transfer the salmon to the prepared dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
Step 6: When done, take the salmon out of the oven. Transfer on a serving plate, spoon the thickened sauce over the salmon and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
