4 skinless/boneless chicken breasts, pounded to ¾ inch thick

Salt/Pepper, to taste

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Marinade: (Shortcut- Use Italian Salad Dressing)

1/2 c olive oil

1/2 c ranch dressing

3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp distilled white vinegar

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp minced garlic

1/2 tsp pepper

Parmesan Crust

3/4 c Parmesan cheese, chopped into bits

3/4 c Provolone cheese, chopped into bits

6 tbsp Buttermilk Ranch salad dressing

5 tbsp melted butter

2 tsp garlic powder

1 c panko breadcrumbs


In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the marinade. Stir until well blended.

Add the chicken breasts inside a resealable bag. Release the air and seal the bag.

Pound the chicken breasts with a meat mallet to about 3/4-inch thick.


Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Transfer the marinade and chicken breasts inside another resealable bag. Use your hands to massage the bag until the chicken breasts are well coated.

Place the bag inside the fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add 2 tbsp of oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the chicken breasts and sear each side for a few minutes or until they turn brown.

Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet onto a clean plate.

For the Parmesan Crust:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.

In a microwavable bowl, add all the ingredients for the topping aside from the panko. Stir until well combined.

Place it inside the microwave and heat it for 30 seconds.

Add the panko crumbs and stir until well mixed.

Put it back inside the microwave and heat for about 15 seconds.

Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts and spread it evenly.

Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy!


This dish is best served with mashed potatoes or rice!
