Easy and delicious! All you need for this recipe are these ingredients and a slow cooker. Nothing complicated here. You just have to toss everything inside the slow cooker, and let it do its magic! A big thanks to my friend for this awesome recipe! I am so impressed with how easy it is to cool Jambalaya! Ingredients:

2 large celery stalks, diced

1 small onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

16 oz smoked sausage, chopped

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tbsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper ( or more for extra spice)

1/2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper

2 (15 ounces) canned diced tomatoes

1/2 c fresh parsley, roughly chopped

2 c vegetable broth ( chicken broth works as well)

2 c uncooked white rice

Directions:

In a slow cooker, add everything aside from the rice.

Stir the ingredients until well combined.

Cover the slow cooker and cook for about 4 hours on a high setting.

Add the uncooked rice and cook for another 25 minutes.

Garnish each serving with freshly chopped parsley and drizzle hot sauce.

Serve and enjoy!
