CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH FUDGE

Ingredients:

⅓ c margarine, melted

⅔ c light brown sugar, packed

1 pinch salt

¾ c all-purpose flour

¼ c semisweet mini chocolate chips

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 (16 oz) package confectioners’ sugar

1 c semisweet mini chocolate chips, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Step 1: Line with aluminium foil a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, melted butter, and salt, then beat until well combined.

Step 3: Add flour and stir until well mixed.

Step 4: Add 1/4 cup of chocolate chips, then knead until well mixed.

Step 5: Shape the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick disk.

Step 6: Place it onto a plastic wrap.

Step 7: Place it inside the freezer for 10 minutes or until set.

Step 8: Remove from the freezer, then slice it into small cuts. Put them back inside the freezer while you prepare the cream cheese fudge.

Step 9: In a mixing bowl, add confectioners’ sugar and cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.

Step 10: Add vanilla extract and chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed.

Step 11: Add slices of cookie dough and toss until well coated with the fudge.

Step 12: Spread them onto the baking dish, then place them inside the freezer for at least 1 hour.

Step 13: Slice, serve, and enjoy!
