2 pre-made, ready to roll pie crusts or Homemade All Butter Pie Crust

Apple Filling

2 tbsp unsalted butter

2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced into 1/4-inch cubes

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp salt

2 tbsp lemon juice

Crumble Topping

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1/3 c flour

1/3 c brown sugar

1/3 c pecan halves, toasted

1/8 tsp salt

1 egg for egg wash

Whipped cream, ice cream, or caramel sauce for topping



Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Apply cooking spray in 24-mini muffin cups.

Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Cook for about 10 minutes, then add the lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.

Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool.

In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, butter, pecans, and flour. Stir until well mixed.

Sprinkle flour onto a flat surface, then lay the dough on it. Use a rolling pin to roll it to flatten.

Slice with a biscuit cutter to 24 pieces.

Fill each muffin pan with the dough slices. Press and brush the top with the egg wash.

Fill each crust with the apple filling.

Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

Top each cupcake with ice cream or caramel sauce.
