What a treat! This Georgia Peach Cobbler just became my favourite! I am so glad that I gave this recipe a try because I never would have tasted perfection. I love how simple and easy this recipe is. All you need are these 4 basic ingredients, and you got yourself a dessert to remember! Feel free to add more ingredients to it if you wish. There are a lot of cobbler recipes, but sometimes you just have to find the one that fits perfectly with you! Now, I have found the one for me. Have a beautiful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1/4 cup plus 1/4 c (1 stick) butter, melted
1 can(s) (28 ounces) sliced peaches, undrained
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in an 8×11-inch baking dish.
Add flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup melted butter into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Sprinkle 1/3 of the mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Add the juice and peaches. Make sure that the peaches are well covered with the juice. If not, add a bit of water.
Sprinkle the rest of the sugar mixture over the peaches.
Add the rest of the sugar and butter on top.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to use all-purpose flour instead of self-rising flour.
