Ingredients:

BROWNIES

2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

1/3 cup cocoa powder

4 Eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cup peanut butter

TOPPING

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup milk

10 large marshmallows

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 pound ( 16 oz) confectioners’ sugar

caramel topping

pecans chopped

Directions:

Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Add 1/3 cup of cocoa and 1 cup of butter into a heat-proof bowl. Place it inside the microwave and heat it until melted completely. Stir until well blended, then allow the mixture to cool.

In a separate mixing bowl, add eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Beat until well mixed.

In another mixing bowl, add salt and flour. Whisk until well mixed.

Transfer the flour mixture into the bowl with the cocoa mixture. Whisk until well mixed.

Transfer everything into the bowl with the sugar mixture, then stir until well mixed.

Empty the bowl into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.

Spread the peanut butter on top of the cake and allow it to melt.

Let it sit at room temperature to cool for a couple of minutes.

To Make the Topping:

Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter, marshmallows, cocoa, and milk. Stir until well mixed. Allow the marshmallows and butter to melt.

Add vanilla and salt, then stir until well blended.

Add the confectioners’ sugar, then beat until well blended.

Pour the mixture on top of the cooled cake and spread it evenly.

Drizzle caramel over the topping.

Sprinkle pecans over the caramel layer.
