Ingredients:

3 tbsp butter, melted

24 fresh mushrooms

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp minced green onions

1 tsp lemon juice

1 c diced cooked crabmeat

½ c soft bread crumbs

1 Egg, beaten

½ tsp dried dill weed

¾ c shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided

¼ c dry white wine

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Brush 3 tbsp of butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Cut off the stems from the mushrooms, then reserve the caps for later use. Chop the stems finely.

Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.

Add the finely chopped stems and green onions. Saute for about 3 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the stove.

Add the crab meat, soft bread crumbs, egg, lemon juice, 1/4 cup Monterey Jack Cheese, and dill weed. Stir until well mixed.

Arrange the mushrooms caps into the prepared pan and stir until well coated with the butter.

Set the mushroom caps side up into the pan.

Top each with the crab meat mixture and green onion mixture.

Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over each cap.

Add the wine around the stuffed mushrooms.

Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
