How to make Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Using a mixer, beat the cake ingredients (cake mix, ground cinnamon, sour cream, eggs, water, and apple pie filling) until well combined.

Step 3: Spray with Pam or grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. At the bottom of the prepared dish, add spoonfuls of the pie filling.

Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes. Do a toothpick test to see if it’s done. Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool for at least 10 minutes.

Step 5: In the meantime, prepare the glaze. Whisk the sugar and milk, adding teaspoonfuls of milk as needed until you reached your desired consistency.

Step 6: Drizzle the glaze over the slightly cooked cake and let it cool fully before slicing.

Note:

Feel free to change the flavour of the cake. Use any pie filling you like such as blueberry, apple, or strawberry.
