Ingredients

1 c. Hood sour cream

4 chicken breasts

4 slices mozzarella

1 tbsp corn starch

3/4 c. Parmesan, freshly grated, divided

1 tsp dried oregano

Parsley, chopped, for garnish

1/2 tsp pepper, freshly ground

1/2 tsp salt, freshly ground

HOW TO MAKE SMOTHERED CHEESY SOUR CREAM CHICKEN

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: With a bit of olive oil, grease a rectangular baking dish.

Step 3: In a large bowl, place the sour cream, half cup Parmesan, salt and pepper, oregano and basil, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Mix well until the ingredients are combined.

Step 4: In the prepared baking dish, lay the chicken breasts. Top the breasts with a slice of mozzarella each, then smother with the sour cream mixture. Lastly, sprinkle with the rest of the 1/4 cup Parmesan.

Step 5: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about an hour.

Step 6: When done, remove the baking dish from the oven. Serve the chicken over rice garnished with some chopped parsley. Enjoy!
