Ingredients:

4 medium green peppers, halved

1.5-pound ground beef, browned

1 packet taco seasoning mix, or seeking good eats homemade taco seasoning recipe

3/4 c water

1-1/2 c cheddar cheese

1 c sour cream

1/2 c salsa

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat 175 degrees C pr 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Slice the washed peppers, then discard the seeds.

Step 3: Place the sliced peppers into a casserole dish with water.

Step 4: Place the casserole dish inside the microwave and heat for 10 minutes or until tender.

Step 5: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 6: Add the ground beef and cook until brown.

Step 7: Add water and taco seasoning. Stir and cook for a few minutes.

Step 8: Add the salsa, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.

Step 9: Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch.

Step 10: Arrange the peppers into the greased baking dish.

Step 11: Fill each pepper with the meat and cheese.

Step 12: Top each stuffed pepper with a generous amount of cheese.

Step 13: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until done.

Step 14: Serve immediately with the taco ingredients. Enjoy!
