You have to give this recipe a try. It’s amazingly life-changing! Why did I have not thought this before? Corn on the cob in the oven, a super simple recipe that will change your life forever! All you need are the usual ingredients (corn, butter, salt, and pepper), the only difference is we are making this in the oven now. If you love cayenne pepper, you can also add it to the ingredients. And it’ll be equally good!

This unfussy recipe to prep corn is not unusual but not a lot of people know about this. I saw this once on Pinterest and my first thought was, why the heck did I not think about it before? Well, maybe I did but I got used to the old ways that slipped my mind. Anyway, this changed my life for the better. We can easily enjoy corn all year round without a fuss.

8 ears corn, cleaned

1 stick (8 tbsp ) unsalted butter, room temperature

kosher salt, to taste

fresh ground black pepper, to taste

How to make Corn on the Cob in the Oven

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. And using aluminium foil, line a baking sheet.

Step 2: On the prepared baking sheet, place the corn. Make sure to set aside half of the butter and spread the rest on the corn, then generously sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 45 minutes until the corn is beginning to brown, turning the corn occasionally.

Step 4: Remove from the oven when done, then spread the rest of the butter on top of each corn and if desired, sprinkle with extra pepper.

If you like cayenne pepper, you can also add them. In a small dish, place 4 tbsp butter and mix it with your desired amount of cayenne pepper. Smear the corn with this and follow the recipe as is.
