Ingredients:

1 & 2/3 c all-purpose flour

1/3 c unsweetened natural cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

4 large Eggs

1 & 1/2 c granulated sugar

Powdered sugar for rolling the cookies (about 1 c)

Directions:

Step 1: Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder into a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 2: Place a small pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.

Step 3: Add the butter and chocolate, then allow them to melt. Remove from the heat.

Step 4: Add the eggs and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 5: Transfer the melted chocolate-butter into the egg mixture and whisk until well mixed.

Step 6: Cover with plastic wrap and place the bowl inside the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.

Step 7: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 8: Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.

Step 9: Form small balls out of the dough.

Step 10: Roll each ball into a bowl with powdered sugar.

Step 11: Arrange the balls onto the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave a 2-inch space between each ball.

Step 12: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.

Step 13: Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool at room temperature.

Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
