Ingredients:

24 ounces dill pickle slices

1 3/4 -2 c Panko breadcrumbs

1 Egg

3/4 c flour

3/4 c buttermilk

1/2 tbsp dried dill

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

cooking oil spray

Directions:

Step 1: Apply cooking spray in an air fryer.

Step 2: Use paper towels to pat dry the pickles.

Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the flour.

Step 4: Add garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Step 5: Add the egg and buttermilk. Beat until well mixed.

Step 6: In another mixing bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.

Step 7: Dip each pickle into the buttermilk mixture, then coat each with the panko breadcrumbs.

Step 8: Arrange the coated pickles onto a clean plate.

Step 9: Place them inside the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Step 10: Cook the pickles in batches into the air fryer.

Step 11: Cook at 200 degrees C or 400 degrees C for 10 minutes. Make sure to flip halfway through the cooking process.

Step 12: Serve hot with dried dill. Enjoy!

Note:

For low carb pickles, discard the flour, breadcrumbs, and buttermilk. Instead, add 1 3/4 cups of crushed pork rinds and almond flour.

Feel free to use 2 eggs as well instead of one.
