This recipe is such a delight! Oh, man, I’m telling you, you are so in for a treat! Feel free to add more ingredients if you want. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

8 ounces manicotti pasta tubes

1.25-pound Italian sausage

1 onion, finely diced

2 c chopped fresh spinach

8 ounces mozzarella, shredded (divided)

3/4 c freshly grated parmesan cheese (divided)

1 Egg, slightly beaten

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 24-ounces jar spaghetti sauce

Directions:

Step 1: Refer to the directions provided on the package of the manicotti on how to cook it.

Step 2: Prepare the Italian sausage by removing the casings.

Step 3: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 4: Add in the sausage and cook until brown and crumbly.

Step 5: Add in the spinach and cook for 1 minute or until wilted.

Step 6: Remove the sausage mixture and place it on a clean plate. Let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 7: Add in ½ cup of grated cheese, egg, garlic powder, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Step 8: Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch baking dish and the spaghetti sauce on the bottom.

Step 9: Stuff each drained manicotti with the meat mixture.

Step 10: Arrange them on the prepared baking dish and spread the rest of the sauce on top.

Step 11: Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.

Step 12: Place it inside the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 190 degrees C.

Step 13: Remove the cover and bake for another 20 minutes or until the top is golden.

Step 14: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 15 minutes at room temperature.

Step 15: Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.

Step 16: Serve and enjoy!
