CRISPY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:

1 cup butter flavoured Crisco shortening

1 cup sugar

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (just pour it in)

2 Eggs, beaten

1 cup Jif peanut butter (i put an extra hunk in)

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Add the sugars, shortening, and vanilla extract into a stand mixer. Beat until creamy.

Add the eggs and beat until well combined.

Add peanut butter and stir until well mixed.

In a mixing bowl, add all the dry ingredients, then whisk until well mixed.

Add the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, then stir until well combined.

Scoop 6 scoops out of the mixture, then arrange them into cookie sheets.

Use the back of the fork to create a crisscross design over each cookie.

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Place the cookies inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes.

Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool for about 5 minutes at room temperature.

Serve and enjoy!

Note:

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge.
