Ingredients:

1 cup light corn syrup

3 large Eggs

1 cup of sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

3/4 cup flaked coconut

3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 prepared pie crust (9-inch deep-dish)

cool whip, if desired, for topping before serving

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs, butter, corn syrup, vanilla, and sugar. Beat at a medium speed until well mixed.

Step 3: Add the coconut and pecans. Stir until well combined.

Step 4: Spread the chocolate chips on the bottom of the pie crust.

Step 5: Spread the corn syrup on top of the chocolate chips.

Step 6: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool on a wire rack for about 2 hours.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
