Ingredients:
2 pounds potatoes, (about 6 ) peeled and cubed, about an inch size
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
A pinch of nutmeg
fresh minced parsley
Directions:
Place a large saucepan with potatoes and water on the stove, then turn the heat to medium. Allow the water to boil.
Cook the potatoes for about 15 minutes or until soft.
Place another pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add flour, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
Add milk a little at a time, then stir until well mixed.
Allow the mixture to boil and allow it to become thick.
Drain the potatoes, then arrange them onto a serving plate.
Pour the delicious sauce on top of the potatoes. Toss until just coated.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Add a sweet onion while you cook the potatoes. It gives a nice taste to them.
