Ingredients:
1 pot of cooked apples
sugar to your taste
spices ( cinnamon, cloves, apple pie spice) to your taste
peanut oil for frying.
Directions:
Slice and core the peeled apples.
Place a pan on the stove, then add the apple slices. Pour in a bit of water, then turn the heat to medium. Heat for a few minutes.
Add a bit of cornstarch and stir until the texture of the sauce becomes thick.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool.
Sprinkle flour on a pastry sheet, then lay a biscuit on it. Roll to make a crust and seal the sides.
Add 1 1/2 tsp of filling to the centre of the crust. Fold the crust, then use a fork to press the sides. Flip the crust and do the same thing on the other side of it.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to low. Add peanut oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the pies into the skillet and fry each side until they become golden brown.
Remove the pies from the skillet onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top.
Serve warm and enjoy!
