Ingredients:
2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 c mashed bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
1/2 c sour cream
1 stick butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 Egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
OPTIONAL:
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt and turn brown.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the sugars. Stir until well mixed.
Let it sit at room temperature to cool.
Move the mixture into a mixing bowl, then add egg and vanilla. Stir until well blended.
Add the sour cream and mashed banana. Stir until well mixed.
In another mixing bowl, add baking powder, flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir until well mixed.
Transfer the flour mixture into the bowl with the banana mixture, then stir until well combined.
Add the nuts and chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed.
Place it inside the refrigerator to chill for about half an hour.
Form small balls out of the mixture, then drop them onto the cookie sheets. Make sure to leave a space between each ball.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the cookie sheets inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool at room temperature.
