Everyone’s favourite! Fudgy, chocolatey Chocolate Crinkle Cookies that are almost like a brownie cookie. These are the best chocolate crinkles of my life and will be yours too!

INGREDIENTS

1 2/3 c all-purpose flour

1/3 c unsweetened natural cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 stick (1/2 c) unsalted butter

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

4 large Eggs

1 1/2 c granulated sugar

Powdered sugar for rolling the cookies (about 1 c)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a small mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate in a small pot over medium-low heat. Once melted, remove the pan from the heat.

Step 3: Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.

Step 4: Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Step 5: Use plastic wrap to cover the bowl and place the dough in the fridge to set for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Step 6: Meanwhile, prepare the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using a silicone baking mat or parchment paper, line a baking sheet.

Step 7: Put about a cup of powdered sugar into a bowl.

Step 8: Form the dough into balls with a small cookie scoop and roll them in powdered sugar.

Step 9: Put the cookies on the prepared baking sheet around 2 inches apart from each other.

Step 10: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 16 to 20 minutes.

Step 11: Once done, remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the pan.
